Alice's Fair Share in Wonderland
Couldn't load pickup availability
If you’ve ever been asked to split a single dessert for two children, then perhaps you can relate to Alice’s expression of defeat. Portraying the Sisyphean task of dividing the cake, Daniel recreates one of Through the Looking-Glass’s iconic moments as a poignant commentary on a world where logic is turned on its head and the pursuit of fairness is too often an exercise in futility.
- Gouache, India Ink, and Pastel on Hand-Dyed Paper
- 34”W x 34”H
- Alice’s Fair Share in Wonderland is floated atop an antique cream mat within a charming blue barnwood frame to showcase the edge detail of Daniel’s hand-dyed paper. The visible woodgrain emulates the illustration as if drawn by Daniel himself.
