Sylvain Dubrunfaut (Lille, France) reimagines Austen’s ballroom as a space where masculinity can be expressed through grace, tenderness, and connection. Three men in flowing robes move in precise, synchronized gestures, their bodies forming an elegant choreography against a brilliant blue backdrop. Soft greens, creams, and warm flesh tones give the gouache a summery quality, while loose brushwork keeps the scene in motion.
