**SOLD OUT**
Hosted by Fable & Lark
Join Lit Society for the inaugural Explorer Salon—a new series of immersive cultural experiences designed to help readers step inside the stories they love.
For our first adventure, we'll explore The Metropolitan Museum of Art through a literary lens.
Inspired by myths, fairy tales, legends, and the enduring power of storytelling, this guided experience invites guests to discover the hidden narratives woven throughout one of the world's greatest museums. Together, we'll trace the origins of familiar stories, uncover the myths behind iconic works of art, and explore how storytelling has shaped human culture across centuries.
Throughout the tour, guests will encounter heroes and monsters, magical transformations, epic quests, ancient myths, fairy tale archetypes, and stories of courage, wonder, and discovery. Along the way, we'll consider how stories transport us to other worlds, reshape our understanding of the one we're in, and sometimes even save lives.
Whether you're a lifelong reader, an art lover, or simply someone who enjoys seeing familiar things in a new way, this experience offers a unique opportunity to connect literature, history, and art in one unforgettable evening.
