Garden in Wonderland

Envisioning Wonderland from Alice’s perspective, the garden gate is left ajar, providing an enticing entry point to this magical world. Objects of importance to Alice’s adventures, such as a single playing card and a pocket watch missing its hands, are scattered across the foreground. Conflicting light sources create uncertainty as to the passage of time or the location of the wondrous garden we’re called to enter.
