Lonely Streets
Couldn't load pickup availability
In Lonely Streets, Matt Mele captures the quiet ache of urban nights—windows glowing, stairwells lit, lives unfolding behind closed doors. The scene conveys both intimacy and distance: home as refuge, yet also a reminder of isolation. True to his practice, Matt lets the city tell its own story, never staging his photographs. Like Fitzgerald’s Nick Carraway trying to find his place within the “constant flicker” of city lights, we are prompted to question where they belong in the wider, restless rhythm of urban life.
