In Rosings, Sebastián Espejo (Spanish-born, London-based) captures the boundary between a manicured lawn and dense woodland in a richly layered field of greens, mossy browns, and shifting light. The familiar path recalls Elizabeth’s repeated encounters with Darcy, where an ordinary landscape becomes charged with possibility. His textured surface makes the scene feel both tangible and elusive, inviting us to linger at the edge of the known and unexpected.
